Just wanted to see what others felt about the possibility of Kenny staying next season?

I REALLY hope he stays as I feel his experience will be invaluable to us next year. I wasn't really upset about hearing who was going yesterday (apart from Stan) but I would be truly upset if King Kenny left. feed.back

Methinks it's time for us to get upset ........................ Tom Ross has confirmed that KK is leaving along with the others. :( :(

Good luck Kenny and thanks for everything.

Sign him up, he can hold his own in this division and will be useful to have around. I'm hoping that he's going to be at the club in one role or another for many years yet.

The king abdicated the throne a long time ago. Kenneth's knackered and retaining his services will only stifle the ascension of a Sam Oji or another youngster to the centre-stage. Its time to let him be.

Caught it on one of the news items yesterday - but heard it again on the Capital Gold news this morning. :(

I get the impression he's 'leaving' - as in not stopping on to do a coaching role - but I hope I'm wrong. :(

This really is taking the urine now!

Now Bullivant has been shown the door we have a vacancy for a coach - Kenny would be ideal. He should renew his playing registration and work towards his coaching badges at the same time.

Rats deserting a sinking ship

Totally agree.

It's not going to happen though :(

Cunningham was the best defender we have had in many many years.

A true captain and superb off and on the pitch for us.

So we didnt get a chance to say a real goodbye to Kenny then? Unless you class him being subbed against Newcastle as his goodbye?

Couldn't belief that he didn't play him against Bolton, if he is leaving just so he could play his bloody son.
Thanks for a great 4 years at the Blues King kenny, he's been absolutely immense.

Makes you wonder why he didn't play doesn't it?
Bruce had been talking about keeping him then next thing when he's not in the 16 at Bolton he's gone. Hmmmm............

Why do people assume that a player who had a couple of good seasons with us,would make a good coach.

Is it because you think he's a nice bloke or what,it cant be his coaching credentials, because he has'nt got any.

Enlighten me.

Perhaps he and many other club players were just p****d of with SB and he was one of the players brave enough to vote with his feet.

BRUCE OUT NOW ! ! !

I think we all need to give kenny Cunningham some respect and accept that he knows best whether he feels right about playing on next season. He may feel that he is physically no longer up to it, or he may simply have reached the point where he no longer has the appetite for it. We dont know.

Similarly we should not be slagging the club off because he hasn't been offered a coaching role. Aside from the fact that we don't actually know whether that is true or not, KC may again have decided its not the way he wants to go at this moment in time.

And there is also the possibility that he just fancies a complete change of club to give hinmself a new challenge?

Whatever his situation, and I'm sure we will get the facts soon enough, we all seem to agree that he has been fantastic for the Blues and will be a player that we will all remember as one our best in recent years.

Time for fresh faces now, and time to look forward to a new start next season!
